This Privacy Policy applies to all travelers, riders, and website visitors who access our online portal, communicate with our expedition consultants via WhatsApp, phone, or email, or participate in any of our Himalayan motorcycle circuits (including Leh Ladakh, Spiti Valley, Umling La, and Delhi-Manali-Leh-Srinagar routes).

To ensure high-altitude safety, process travel permits, and confirm tour bookings, we collect the following categories of personal information:

• Contact Details: Full name, phone number, WhatsApp contact, email address, and home address.
• Government ID & Licenses: Copy of your valid Driving License (for rider verification), Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID (required for Ladakh & Spiti Inner Line Permits).
• Medical & Emergency Information: Pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, high-altitude tolerance history, and emergency contact details (blood group, next-of-kin contact).
• Booking & Financial Information: Transaction ID, token advance payment records, banking references, and date preferences. We do not store credit/debit card numbers on our local servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is strictly used for legitimate expedition logistics, including:

• Confirming tour slots, booking hotel rooms, and reserving luxury Swiss tent stays in Nubra, Pangong, Kaza, and Hanle.
• Allocating tuned Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycles and safety helmets according to rider size and preference.
• Preparing medical oxygen support kits and providing emergency details to our backup vehicle crew and road captains.
• Sending trip itineraries, route updates, packing checklists, and AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) advisories.

4. Inner Line Permits (ILP) & Protected Areas

Certain areas in Ladakh and Spiti—including Pangong Tso, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Hanle, and Umling La Pass (19,024 ft)—are classified as border or protected areas requiring Inner Line Permits issued by the District Magistrate / Tourism Administration of Leh Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh.

By booking a tour, you authorize Dream Ride Himalaya to submit your government-issued ID proof and permit application to relevant district authorities and Indian Army checkposts solely for the purpose of securing your legal travel permits.

5. Third-Party Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third-party marketing brokers. Personal information is only shared under the following conditions:

• Government Authorities & Police: For statutory Inner Line Permits, border security checkpoints, and legal requirements.
• Emergency Medical Providers: Army medical posts, Sonam Norboo Memorial (SNM) Hospital in Leh, or local clinics in case of high-altitude emergencies.
• Payment Gateways: Secure banks and UPI processors to verify deposit transactions.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS), firewalls, and restricted administrative access to protect your personal details against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Physical document copies collected for permit processing are securely handled by our base camp operations team.

7. Data Retention

We retain booking records, invoicing, and permit confirmations for as long as required to comply with local tax, tourism, and legal obligations. Once this period expires, all physical copies and electronic records are securely archived or permanently deleted.

8. Your Legal Rights
